Eve before we Leave

Well, the time has arrived!  With about a year and a half of planning, organizing, fund raising, praying and packing - we are down to one night before we leave.  Thank-you once again to everyone who has and continues to support this group.

This leads to an interesting story.  I filed some papers with one of the organizations that our home building company does business with.  A yearly process that involves some administration and a membership fee of $500.00.  I fired off an e-mail with the filled out paperwork, and noted that we were heading to central America undertaking some humanitarian work, and that I would forward them the cheque on my return at the end of the month.  A few hours later I received a note from the owner of the establishment asking me to instead take the $500.00 with me and use it on the school instead of paying the yearly fee.  Wow!  God truly does work in mysterious ways.

We also received a few pictures from Samaritans Purse on the structure we started in 2009 and will continue to work on during this project.  Looks like we will be finishing the walls on the second story and maybe adding the roof.

Thank-you for your prayers.  I better get to bed.  3:00 AM comes early...

Curt
